This is one of the best innovative projects among all and have also published a paper on the journal "INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND INNOVATIVE ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY" (202 serial number) under the guidance of the Professor Dr. SELVARAJ. This paper presents ongoing work and progress in system implementing approach to agricultural automation. An overview of the farming system is presented, depicting a system-of-system architecture. Each system is described in more detail, and include the crop layout system, the software system, and the autonomous agricultural machinery system. Such autonomous machinery is used for ploughing, seeding and harvesting. It provides both manual control either by android smart phone or by PC (connected by means of Bluetooth, HC04) and automation control using HC-SR04 sensor (ultrasonic sensor) by using ATmega8 microcontroller. The movement of the robot is controlled by the ultrasonic sensor. The motors are coupled with each set of relay modules one for motion, one for seed drum and the other for harvesting. The main implementation of the robot is that it can be both automated as well as manually controlled through PC or mobile phone. It also consists of wireless camera for surveillance via WIFI module. The main objective was to replace tractors which causes pollution due to large consumption of fuels. A special plastic wheel was designed where the wheel rotates producing minimum torque in dirt's and sands. The design of the wheel is shown as follows:-
